Job Description
Basic Function:
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting dies and fixtures before, during, and after production to ensure top performance and long tool life.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities:
- 🧩 Build new die components
- 📦 Identify needed parts and coordinate orders
- 🛠️ Maintain and sharpen dies as needed
- 💻 Update tool repair records
- 💡 Recommend improvements to tooling
- 🔍 Troubleshoot tooling issues during production
Requirements:
- 🎓 High school diploma or equivalent
- 🛠️ Completed state-indentured Tool & Die apprenticeship OR 6+ years non-indentured tool & die experience
- Minimum 3 years building, maintaining, and troubleshooting progressive tooling
- 📜 Journeyman Card in Tool & Die
