Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Basic Function:

Responsible for pulling and preparing orders to meet customer releases and supporting daily shipping and receiving activities.

Key Responsibilities:

📦 Pull orders from inventory to meet customer releases
🔄 Combine partial containers into complete containers
🚚 Process small shipments through FedEx and UPS
📋 Move completed parts into the finished goods inventory area
🚜 Operate standing and sit-down forklifts
🔍 Perform daily forklift checks and request maintenance as needed

Principle Duties:

🚜 Serve as backup for daily inspections of forklifts and order pickers
📦 Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
🧹 Maintain a clean and organized work area
🤝 Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

🧠 Skills: Ability to safely operate forklifts and order pickers; ability to organize and prioritize work
🎓 Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
🛠️ Experience: Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
