Stamping Lead - 1st Shift

Basic Function:

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Stamping Operators while providing technical support and guidance to operators. This position helps ensure presses are properly set up, jobs are staged and running efficiently, and the department maintains high standards for safety, quality, organization, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

⚙️ Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Stamping Operators

👨‍🔧 Serve as a resource for operators by answering questions and helping resolve production issues

🔧 Assist operators with the setup and teardown of presses

📦 Ensure materials, jobs, and necessary supplies are properly staged at each press

🚜 Perform material handling as needed

✅ Support quality requirements and help identify and resolve production concerns

Education & Experience:

🧠 Skills: Basic computer and math skills; ability to communicate effectively with others; ability to read and interpret technical drawings; strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

🎓 Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent

🛠️ Experience: 5 years of manufacturing experience setting up and operating automatic punch presses
