Accessibility Statement

NinjaGig is committed to making our website and blog usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most widely used to measure web accessibility.

What we have done

• Audited every page of the NinjaGig blog with automated accessibility testing tools and fixed the issues found.
• Improved color contrast so text and links are easier to read.
• Added visible focus outlines so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.
• Added text descriptions (alt text) to informative images and screenshots.
• Organized headings and data tables so they work with screen readers.
• Stopped the home page slider from moving automatically.
• Rebuilt our downloadable guides as accessible, tagged PDFs.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review new content before it is published, re-test the site regularly, and are extending this work to the rest of ninjagig.com, including sign-up and our job application pages.

Known limitations

Some older blog posts include screenshots of third-party websites. We describe them in text, but details inside those images may not be fully accessible. If you need information from any image or document in another format, contact us and we will provide it.
