HVAC Service
Technician (Residential & Commercial)
3HAC is seeking a
professional that enjoys what they do, has a curious mind, and considers this
line of work a career and not just a job.
The position requires the
ability to diagnose and repair of HVAC systems including water source HPUs,
RTUs, VRF systems, split systems, and chilled water AHUs.
This isn't an entry-level
position; we're looking for professionals that know things and are interested
in learning even more things.
Job Duties
- ·
Diagnosis and repair of HVAC systems including water source HPUs,
RTUs, VRF systems, split systems, and chilled water AHUs.
- ·
Travel to job sites and work with the service manager and
dispatch to ensure schedules and appointments are maintained and delays are
properly communicated
- ·
Maintain good working order of company vehicle, including keeping
it clean, refueling when needed and reporting mechanical issues
- ·
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment
- ·
Document all installed equipment: make, model, serial number,
and pictures as necessary
- ·
Join on-call rotation
- ·
Maintain communication with dispatch and service manager
- ·
Use of Service Titan for tracking calls and work being
completed.

- ·
Ability to diagnose and then repair diverse HVAC systems
- ·
Excellent people skills
- ·
Able to communicate appropriately
- ·
Able to use electronic devices
- ·
Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure
job is done correctly the first time
· Other Requirements
- ·
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- ·
Valid social security number
- ·
EPA Certification
- ·
Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver
heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders;
work from heights and in small crawl spaces
- ·
Observe company procedures and safety rules
- ·
Maintain accurate records
