Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic National
Accounts Director to lead and grow our key retail and eCommerce
customer relationships. This role is responsible for managing national
accounts, including big box retailers, marketplaces, and strategic eCommerce
platforms, to drive sales, profitability, and brand presence across our
portfolio of pet, baby, and parent-focused brands.
The ideal candidate brings strong sales acumen, exceptional
relationship-building skills, a data-driven mindset to scale performance across
multiple product categories, excellent communication skills and an unparalleled
ability to create and maintain relationships with current and potential
customers.
What You Will Do
- Own and manage national account relationships with key
customers such as Costco, Walmart, Target, Chewy, and other retail/eCommerce
partners.
- Develop and execute joint business plans and promotional
strategies to meet revenue, margin, and brand growth objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain,
Product Development, and Customer Service) to deliver tailored retail programs
and operational excellence.
- Analyze sales performance, category trends, and competitive
landscape to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Lead annual line reviews, negotiations, pricing, and
contract renewals with national retail buyers.
- Partner with digital marketing and marketplace teams to
drive traffic, conversion, and visibility on eCommerce platforms.
- Forecast demand and manage sales planning in coordination
with operations and inventory teams.
- Provide executive-level reporting, insights, and
recommendations for account performance and strategic initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a national accounts team as the
business grows.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field;
MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in national account sales, preferably
in consumer goods, eCommerce, or retail environments.
- Proven success managing large, complex accounts with major
national retailers or marketplaces.
- Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen, including
margin management and P&L responsibility.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart.com,
Shopify, etc.) and omni-channel retail environments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced,
growth-oriented environment.
- Passion for consumer lifestyle brands, especially in the
pet, baby, or parent space, is a plus.

Pay: $130,000.00 to $140,000.00 per YEAR
