Manager Full-Service Restaurant - Fort Worth

Job Description

Our client is seeking Managers in the Fort Worth area. Come join a great management team of a fast growing family restaurant chain expanding throughout Texas. Everything they make in their kitchen is from scratch and they use only high-quality ingredients. As a Manager in the organization, you will be fully empowered to focus on every detail of the business from employee training and development to customer care to managing costs. Our client’s focus is on their associates first as they feel that if the associates are well trained and well cared for, everything else will fall into place.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Overall responsibility for a single full-service restaurant with flexibility to float to other restaurants in the county on an as-needed basis
• Manage staff (hire, schedule, assist in training, handle personnel issues, etc.)
• Ensure policies and procedures are upheld
• Ensure store cleanliness and general upkeep
• Participate in sales efforts
• Other tasks as needed to run a successful unit
• Strong understanding of local store marketing and community involvement

• Should be actively involved in all day-to-day operations, hands-on, roll-up-sleeves and pitch in both front-of-house and back-of-house, attacks tasks with a sense of urgency and acts with confidence knowing that the owners have empowered the Manager as if s/he were an owner; must “work smart”
• Strong BOH with scratch kitchen experience is strongly desired
• Although college is not required, some college is preferred, especially in business and/or hospitality areas of study
• Client will not accept: felonies (ask re: misdemeanors), any DUI in past 5 years, bankruptcies that are not yet discharged, visible tattoos or piercings, earrings on men (earrings okay on women), ear gauges
• Men may have groomed beards; ladies and men are expected to have well-manicured/maintained finger nails
• Business attire is always worn by General and Assistant Managers

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Must have prior management experience in a full-service concept with annualized sales of at least $1.5 million
• Must have worked as a salaried manager for at least 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have full flexibility with your schedule
• Must have good tenure (no more than 2 jobs in past 5 years, 3 jobs in 9 years) and show career progression
