Children's Residential - Various Residential positions available

Job Description

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) provides four trauma-focused residential programs for adolescent girls who are in the custody of the State of Rhode Island. These programs include an emergency shelter, a high intensity program, a step-down program and a semi-independent living program. Positions currently available within our Residential programs include:


Supervisor - Bachelor's Degree in human services related field OR significant residential/childcare experience along with prior supervisory experience. $500 sign-on bonus within 6 months of employment.

Care Coordinator - Bachelor's Degree in human services related field OR significant residential/childcare experience.

Residential Counselors, Full time - Bachelor's Degree in human services OR significant residential/childcare experience is required. $500 sign-on bonus within 6 months of employment.

Residential Counselors, Overnight - Bachelor's Degree in human services OR significant residential/childcare experience is required. $500 sign-on bonus within 6 months of employment.

Residential Counselors, Part Time - Bachelor's Degree in human services OR significant residential/childcare experience is required.

Residential Counselors, Relief/On-Call - Bachelor's Degree in human services OR significant residential/childcare experience is required.

All positions require the willingness and capability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as scheduled. Additionally, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, registration, inspection and driving record is required for all positions. Reliable transportation must have a minimum of three seats in addition to the driver’s seat.
