Job Description
We are currently hiring a Facilities Manager for our Renton and Tukwila properties.
The Facilities Manager will report to and assist the Regional Facilities Manager.
Maintenance Operation
- Manage the daily operations of the maintenance department ensuring compliance, safety and corrective and preventative maintenance procedures are followed.
- Oversee maintenance by tracking work hours, managing material purchases used in maintenance/project work and working with the accounting department to ensure all work is billed correctly.
- Analyze, diagnose, and recommend correction for company equipment problems, including HVAC/Refrigeration equipment. plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Service and repair equipment as needed.
- Manage the janitorial staff of our two Renton and one Tukwila properties. Presently there are 14 janitorial employees.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
- Inspect working conditions to ensure all activities are compliant with company and regulatory standards.
- Acquire bids from, and manage, vendors and suppliers, including building and grounds maintenance and improvement vendors.
- A company pickup will be provided for use during business hours.
Experience- Two plus years of general maintenance experience.
- Experience with carpentry, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, electrical and whole facility maintenance,
- Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Fluent in English; Additional languages helpful
- Must have a valid Washington state drivers license
Compensation- Salary $65,400-75,000
