The Automated Embroidery Machine Operator - Monogramming will operate multiple automated embroidery machines. Work orders are received for standard and custom monograms and designs. The operator must interpret the work order and set up the machine to monogram the product. Automated Embroidery Machine Operator - Monogramming will also run non-monogramming automated equipment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
-Operate Automated Embroidery machines of differing models.
-Read work orders and interpret orders.
-Set up machine with correct materials including thread, fabric and templates
-Assist with loading/unloading containers as needed
-Meet production and quality standards
-Pay meticulous attention to work detail
-Cover for other employees in key operations while they are on break/lunch.
-Support continuous improvement activities and projects.
-Flexibility to move from one assignment to another as dictated by business needs.
-Ability to multitask.
-Read and follow production work orders. Document production data.
-Ability to work both independently and on a team to complete assignments.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
-Train and maintain certification in the areas noted above within specified/required timeframes.
-Intermediate computer literacy.
