Human Resources Coordinator

Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator administers HR solutions that directly support the achievement of business goals, are in keeping with the core values and culture of the organization and result in attracting, developing and retaining top talent at all levels in the organization. This position provides timely and exceptional customer service to all employees.

The Human Resources Coordinator administers HR functions including, recruiting, new hire orientation, on-boarding, performance management, exit interviews, compensation and benefits administration, payroll support, leave of absence administration, time and attendance.


-Manage the new hire onboarding process
-Coordinate all benefits administration including annual open enrollment, employee inquiries, process new hire benefits enrollment, COBRA administration, conduct monthly billing verification, and manage benefit vendor file feeds
-Provide recruiting support to managers and assist with reference checks and preparation of offer letters
-Ensure that employees follow the guidelines and policies outlined in the Company’s Employee Handbook
-Assist managers with the performance review process
-Assist with coordination of training sessions
-Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
-Maintain employee personnel files to ensure legal compliance
-Provides general administrative support to staff; manage office supplies and inventory
-Assist in ad-hoc HR projects as needed
-Maintain employee files.
-Track HR metrics as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

-Bachelor’s degree is required
-A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience
-Strong attention to detail
-Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks simultaneously and manage them effectively
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident and effective in explaining concepts and situations to employees at all levels
-Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy to accomplish work objectives
-Problem solving, the ability to identify root cause, realize, and implement solutions
-Demonstrates vision, passion, commitment, and integrity, transparency, taking responsibility and building trust
-A strong team player with a positive attitude and ability to absorb and learn quickly; willing to go the extra mile
Proficiency in MS Office
