Marketing Assistant Manager



Job Description
The Marketing Assistant Manager will assist in the management and execution of all marketing activities including external communications, trade materials, and other collateral. They will work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal and external teams to facilitate the timing and execution of deliverables.

The Marketing Department at Matouk is expected to be nimble and collaborate with every department to develop initiatives, programs, and collateral to enable their respective success while also aligning and growing the brand. This will mean working closely with Sales, Digital, Creative, Product Development, Hospitality and Production. The Marketing Assistant Manager must be able to work across these departments easily and feel comfortable facilitating internal processes.

The Marketing Assistant Manager will work with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Coordinator to support long-term initiative planning and execute daily responsibilities with efficiency. They will also be responsible for generating creative tactics against initiatives and creating roadmaps to complete those tactics.

Main Duties & Responsibilities—

Facilitation of Marketing collateral
Ensure all marketing materials are cohesive and on brand
Manage initial rounds of proofing/routing and editing
Identify and execute ways to streamline internal processes when it comes to Marketing collateral production including but not limited to:
The Matouk catalog printed annually for Q1
The catalog Mid Year Update printed annually for Q3/4
Seasonal collection sales materials (Rep packet, Look Book)
Factory Store materials
e-commerce collateral
Assist in executing Sales & Hospitality marketing needs as needed

Media & advertising management
Be a “first gate” for advertising/press/social media opportunities and brand fit by gathering information around inquiries/requests.
Act as the point-of-contact to deliver final materials for advertising insertions
Manage the day-to-day needs for other regional/Factory Store advertising and partnership relationships

Digital marketing maintenance
Assist e-comm marketing promotional page creation, as necessary
Assist in answering the needs of Affiliate campaigns, as necessary

Tradeshow & event facilitation
Assist in creation of additional Marketing initiatives / demands during show periods

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 5 years working experience
Experience working with social content planning platforms and Google office suite
Must be highly organized and proactive with a strong attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Additional Qualifying Attributes:

Presentation experience is a plus
Sophisticated design & aesthetic sensibility
A passion for textiles/all things home and luxury is a plus
