Job Description
MANAGEMENT - HR Manager for an Allentown, PA promotional product manufacturing company.

We are a Brooklyn NY company moving to the Allentown Area (Union Blvd. & N. Plymouth Street) and need a bilingual on-demand HR professional.

The CEO has a ravenous appetite to be the best in class vis-a-via service and employee satisfaction and desires to be disruptive in the industry by offering best in class services. This position requires limited to no real travel.

Initially (for the first 2 - 4 months), I imagine we would need you full time to help find, vet and interview employees for both the Factory and the office positions (including management positions) and once we start the staffing process and bring on other higher level people, some of the workload will dissipate and this position will become a part-time (Flex time position, i.e. you would come in to the office 1 or 2 days a week (or more or less as we would agree – perhaps you want to work more and there are other areas you could help out in after our initial staffing and you are wanting more then 1-2 days a week – we can discuss if you are the right player).
You must be a logical thinker and not overwhelmed by the prospect of hiring upwards of 100 people (we are needing 100 factory employees and about 30-40 office employees, including production and line employees all the way up to managers). We want to hire "A" players and you get bonus points if you know the theory of Topgrading :-)

The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of five years' HR experience and demonstrated success in the areas of practice management, engagement management, employee management, best process management, business and manual development, customer service management / development, team leadership. The successful candidate will also be able to learn quickly, adapt to change, communicate and delegate effectively, forecast accurately and provide thought leadership.

A passion for learning and growth are essential. Knowledge of the promotional product business including business issues, companies and people, are desirable.
