F.T. (30-35 flex hours) Bilingual Credit and Collection Rep. (Spanish/Eng.) for a Allentown, PA promotional product manufacturing company.


Job Description:
We are a growing firm, with immediate, openings in our accounting office for a F.T. bilingual Credit and Collection representative.
.
This is a stable full time 30 or 35 hour a week position. In this position you will have a bit of flexibility on a daily basis to start at 8, 9 or 9:30 daily and work 6 hours (which equals 30 hours a week) and / or if the workload requires it to work 7 hours (which equals 35 hours).
.
We ultimately are looking for someone who has done collections in the past (i.e. that they know how to talk with people and assess (know) when you are getting a run around warranting future action. This position is 100% easily trainable for a smart, dedicated, right fit employee.
.
PURPOSE:
To assess our customer's credit worthiness and request via mail, email, phone or fax advance payments and or past due payments. You will also be responsible for processing daily checks and credit cards to ready them for bank deposits.
.
You will get on the job training in our specific products and computer system but we expect you to be able to learn quickly, project a great first impression via telephone and or written communication as WELL AS HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THIS AREA.
.
We also expect that you come to us with a college level reading and writing skill set as well as a working knowledge of basic office skills and programs (excel, word, etc.). Please note that successful candidates will need to prove work history.
.
We are looking for MATURE, motivated, friendly and punctual candidates FROM THE LOCAL AREA.
.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
* English as your first language - Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
* Spoken fluency in Spanish
* Pleasant phone voice
* Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
* 4-5 year's minimum experience in an office environment.
* Computer and typing skills (i.e. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, Excel software)
* College level Math Skill a MUST
* Customer Service Oriented
* Highly Organized and Accurate
