Williams Construction is an established general contractor on the island of Kauai, specializing in the design and construction of luxury custom homes. After over 20 successful years in business, Williams Construction is looking for an experienced General Manager to join their team. With proven operational excellence and best-in-class leadership skills, the General Manager will help propel Williams Construction into the future! What will you bring to the table? 7+ years working as a General Manager or Director of Operations for a company with annual revenues of 10M+ or equivalent military experience 5-7 years of experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams 5-7 years of experience overseeing multiple complex projects Proven track record of increasing productivity, improving communication, streamlining processes, and increasing profitability World-class communication skills with the ability to be a conduit between team members, leadership, the owner, and clients Flexible and resilient personality Humble, selfless, and relatable leader who leads with their finger on the pulse of the business Strong financial acumen As the General Manager, you will: Manage the daily operations of a luxury residential design-build firm, reporting directly to the owner Lead and manage a team of 50 team members, including Project Managers, Tradesmen, Designers, Architects, and Administrative Support personnel Act as the liaison between the leadership team and the owner Analyze processes and systems and make recommendations to increase efficiency and productivity Enrich the company culture and support the morale of the team through personalized, hands-on management Oversee project timelines, budgets, and profitability Recommend and implement leadership development opportunities Provide guidance and recommendations to the owner Why join our team?
