Job Description
We are looking for a stamping press operator to join our team to set up/run progressive metal stamping dies producing parts for defense, agriculture, heating/cooling, automotive, & many other industries!!!
Candidates with previous experience in setting-up/running metal stamping or printing presses preferred, but candidates with other manufacturing, industrial, or technical trades experience and interest are strongly encouraged to apply! We are willing to train those who want to learn and demonstrate initiative.
Must be very mechanically inclined & quality focused.
Starting pay based on applicable prior experience.
Primary Responsibilities
• Change out/mount progressive stamping dies in 30, 60, 75 80, 200, 100, and 125 ton presses
• Set-up/load coil feeders & adjust to run into press
• Modify/regulate smart-pack and minster controls
• Monitor & adjust speeds/feeds of material line
• Troubleshoot as needed
• Monitor machine operations for malfunctions, production quality, safety issues
• Read blueprints & perform inspections as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in running/setting up stamping, forging, or printing presses or other technical trades/manufacturing experience preferred
Mechanically inclined & detail orientation
Reliable, honest, strong work ethic
Willing to learn & desire to help the company succeed
