Job Description
Receiving Clerk - PERRIS
Monday - Friday
8am - 4:30pm
$17-$18/hr
Experience Required:
- Review and schedule new inbound shipments throughout the day
- Check drivers in and out both inbound and outbound shipments
- Receive inbound shipments on various systems and acknowledge, export, and import into the warehouse management software for processing
- Perform data entry for various tasks
- Ensure that all inbound shipments are being received in a time-sensitive manner by scheduling strategically
- Review and maintain client email correspondence, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, acknowledge email receipt, and researching open issues as needed; maintain positive customer relationships
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Programs
- Provide a receiving report template to the warehouse including a packing slip of what is expected
- Review and confirm completed receiving reports before sending them to customers
- Maintain preparing receiving reports and sending them to customers in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as required by management
- Work closely with all warehouse departments
- Take initiative to solve a problem before involving management
- Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules, procedures, and company policies
Pay: $17.00 to $18.00 per HOUR
