The Arc of the St.
Johns is an agency that specializes in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy
for Children and Adults Diagnosed with IDD. We are looking for a
professional BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to join
our team.
We currently provide
ABA Therapy in an after-school setting for our Prekindergarten Charter School,
Therapeutic Learning Center located in St. Augustine, Florida. This position is FULL TIME.
Responsibilities and
Duties
Job responsibilities:
· Full Time (40 hours a week)
·
Work Hours are Monday-Friday and follow the St. Johns County school Calendar.
·
Program provides
services during the summer months as well.
·
BCBA will be off based
on school calendar i.e. teacher planning days, holidays, etc.
·
BCBA will work
directly 1:1 with clients in the program, as well as, provide supervision to
RBT’s working on site.
·
Conduct Functional
Behavioral Assessments, Write Behavior Intervention Plans and plan updates,
create and update data collection sheets, Graph data, write daily notes on
services provided.
·
Keep up with insurance
service authorizations for Medicaid, Aetna, UBH, Cigna, and Tricare (Majority
of our clients are Medicaid).
·
Familiar with testing
ABLLS-R and VBMAPP
·
Provide supervision
and parent training to the client’s guardians.
The position’s schedule is a set schedule due to the nature of the program.
We
are looking for people who:

Are BCBAs in good
standing with the BACB
·
Have experience with
preschool children preferred.
·
Approved by the BACB
to supervise RBT’s and BCaBA’s
·
Willing to
supervise/organize psychology interns from local colleges
