Inside Advertising Sales Representative (part-time) (accepting applications only)



Job Description
The Baby Sleep Site is an at-will employer. This means that regardless of any provision in this application, either you or The Baby Sleep Site may terminate any employment relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without cause or advance notice.

This is a part-time position. The Inside Advertising Sales Representative will sell or solicit advertising space on our website and in our marketing newsletter to businesses and individuals. This representative will also work to develop mutual partnership arrangements with businesses and individuals while nurturing long- lasting relationships with our customers. This role calls for a "go-getter" with endless drive and initiative and above average persuasive skills.

This position may require you to have flexibility with the days and hours that you work.

This is a virtual, sedentary position requiring the use of a home work space. You will provide your own office equipment to perform this job such as a computer, scanner, telephone line and fax.

This part-time position offers an hourly pay rate plus commissions.

REQUIREMENTS

This position requires intermediate ability and experience navigating the Internet, within web-based programs, Microsoft Office (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and web-based e-mail. You will sometimes be expected to utilize Google-based programs in the completion of your assigned duties.

This position requires you to be able to make and receive phone calls to verbally communicate with our customers and to type on a keyboard to communicate with our customers in written form. This position requires you to be able to correctly use proper grammar and punctuation and have a very high attention to detail.

The preferred candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a successful record of business-to-business sales in marketing or advertising using a consultative approach.

EDUCATION

Associates/Bachelor’s in related field, such as Sales and Marketing

EXPERIENCE

At least 1 year in sales support and at least 2 years in direct ad sales; must be confident and persuasive during sales calls
