Job Description

The Fiscal Administrator- Housing maintains monthly rent and security deposit ledgers. Must have knowledge of and assist with all aspects of HUD 202 Accounting. Responsibilities include: accounts payable, maintaining and reconciling all bank accounts, preparing monthly 202 reports for fiscal meeting, producing weekly vouchers, maintaining Contractor Records and Maintenance Records on the apartments, etc. They are responsible for maintaining an accurate listing of each apartment corporation inventory; balances all accounts in preparation for Deputy CFO’s producing AFS. Develops an understanding of the AFS so that you can answer questions by HUD Account Executives relating to AFS. Provides auditors with all files requested. Answers questions auditors have relating to 202 finances. Provides financial data to Property Management to assist with decisions relating to purchases and contractors, etc. Provides financial information and analysis that will help with the production of budgets and rent increases. As numbers are entered into QB and Excel, verifies that the totals are identical and if not, make needed corrections. Prepares reports as requested. Performs all other duties as needed by the fiscal department. Daily this department receives requests for financial information. The Fiscal Administrator will provide all the information (which confidentially allows) our customers need in a timely and friendly way.

Associate Degree in Accounting or a minimum of two years bookkeeping experience. Excellent computer, calculator and bookkeeping skills required. Must have experience with Excel. and QuickBooks. Continually increase skills by taking online courses and training classes.
