Job Description
The FP&A Specialist will play a critical role in supporting
the company's financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts. This
individual will partner cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and
sales to provide insights into performance trends, support strategic
initiatives, and enhance financial discipline across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support monthly variance analysis and management
reporting to explain performance against forecast, budget, and prior year.
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models,
dashboards, and reporting tools to support decision-making.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and sales
to track KPIs, monitor costs, and assess profitability.
- Analyze SKU-level and channel-level data to
provide actionable insights into product performance and gross margin trends.
- Collaborate with Accounting during month-end
close to ensure accuracy of financial statements and accruals.
- Prepare and present financial summaries for
executive leadership and board-level reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting,
Economics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate
finance, or financial consulting—CPG or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
with proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Insights,
Planful, or other FP&A tools preferred.
- Solid understanding of financial statements,
forecasting, and cost accounting principles.
- Comfortable handling large data sets and
translating them into business insights.
- Proven ability to work independently in a
fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
with the ability to partner cross-functionally.
