Part Time Parking Cashiers + Attendants



Job Description
If you’re a passionate, energetic, and goal driven individual, we’re looking for you! The information below will help you determine whether or not you may be the right fit for our event-based parking operation team!

As a Classic Parking team member, you would be expected to:
• Arrive for work on time and in a neat and clean uniform.
• Answer our customer’s questions and assist them in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count the vehicles on location throughout your shift as needed.
• Assist customers who may have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
• Give directions to our customers and stay knowledgeable of your surroundings so that you can direct our customers to various locations within the city.
• Control the traffic flow at the parking lot entrances and exits as needed.
• Use our two-way radio to request assistance and seek information when necessary.
• Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to your immediate supervisor or manager.
• Inform your supervisor or manager of any, water, oil spills or other safety hazards that you may encounter.
• Note all major streets, landmarks and freeways within the lot perimeter.
• Collect cash, make change, and keep all cash you receive secure.
• Process credit cards.
• Issue parking tickets to customers after you have processed their payment.
To perform this job successfully, employees must be able to perform well under pressure during stressful and fast paced situations. Employees must meet our guests’ expectations quickly while being polite, attentive, and friendly. We are seeking employees that excel in a team environment. Quality customer service and teamwork are of the upmost importance.

Education Requirements:
While a high school diploma is not required to join our team, employees must have adequate/equivalent work experience. Our employees must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and be able to write simple correspondence. They must be able to present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees effectively. Employees must also be able to add and subtract two-digit numbers and must be able to multiply and divide by 5’s, 10’s, 20’s, and 100’s. In other words, employees must be proficient in “money math” in order to make change for our customer’s both quickly and accurately.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Employees will be exposed to weather and will primarily work outside.
Our employees must be able to meet certain physical demands. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, and use their hands to handle cash and equipment. Employees will be required to reach with their hands and arms and must be able to speak and hear in order to effectively communicate with our customers. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Availability and Additional Work Requirements: Due to the nature of event-based employment, shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on the location’s event schedule.

Employees will only be required to maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record, if they are expected to be able to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business.

Employees will always be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance while remaining in complete uniform. Uniform shirts will be provided.
