We are currently looking for an Admissions/Business Office Coordinator at our Skilled Nursing Facility, Mary, Queen & Mother Center.
Functions as the Admissions Coordinator for Mary, Queen & Mother Center and Mother of Perpetual Help Residence. The Director of Admissions is responsible for the implementation of the marketing and admissions functions of each facility in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of that facility and that complies with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plans, directs and implements the marketing and admissions functions for each facility, ensuring that all medical and financial criteria are met.
Receives and responds to inquiries about each facility by phone or personal visit.
Documents all inquiries, interviews and applications to each facility. Develops admission tracking report on a monthly basis.
Proposes Room Changes when necessary to meet Resident Care Needs
Builds Relationships with Social Workers and Discharge Planners at Area Hospitals for future Referral Sources.
Acts as a referral and information source to applicants, residents and families, and coordinates services as needed.
Conducts or provides tours of each facility.
Coordinates the admission process for placement of residents at each facility according to needs and in compliance with state regulations.
Facilitates move-in of new residents to each facility; notifies administration and appropriate department managers and staff of the date and time scheduled for arrival of each new resident. Facilitates re-admission of residents of Mary, Queen and Mother Center upon return from a hospital.
Ensures that all resident admission information is documented, recorded and maintained within each facility.
Facilitates morning stand-up meetings.
Performs other duties as directed.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements
Minimum of two years college or comparable business college education.
Experience in social service or similar work, preferably with older adults.
All candidates receiving an offer for employment will be required to submit to pre-employment screening.
