What is an RBT?
An RBT works one-on-one with a client
using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques to decrease
maladaptive behaviors by teaching functional replacement skills. The goal of
therapy is to teach skills that promote client independence and social
integration. This is done through a behavioral assessment and treatment plan
designed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This plan is
implemented by the RBT through daily therapy sessions, although the hours and
service locations vary by client.
Specific duties include:

Adequate physical mobility (e.g. able to get up
and down from the floor without hesitation, able to run a short distance in the
case of client elopement/danger, etc.)

*This is a part-time position for 9 hours per week. Services will be provided at school from 9 am to 12 pm Monday through Wednesday only. Broward school badge is required (you can apply for it now if you don't already have it).
Starting pay range is $25-29/hour
depending on education and experience. Pay schedules are as follows:

Level 1- $25/hour for billable services, $15/hour
for non-billable services

Entry Level- High school diploma and 2
years of experience

Level 2- $27/hour for billable services, $15/hour
for non-billable services

Associate’s Degree in Psychology or related
field and/or 2 years of experience

Level 3- $29/hour for billable services, $15/hour
for non-billable services

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field
and 2 years of experience

Our team of dedicated, 'Elite' service professionals provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism and/or other developmental delays or behavioral difficulties.
