Delivery Driver



Job Description
The Independence Houses is looking for a part-time delivery driver. This position is a Monday through Friday position from 9am till noon. Applicants will be provided a company vehicle, but must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities will include:
Assist chef to gather food items from daily menu and load into containers for delivery. Driving company vehicle and timely delivery of prepared meals to several locations. May include other small tasks needed in the kitchen/inventory area.

The right candidate will have --
Prioritize Assigned Responsibilities
Detailed oriented
Strong Customer Service Skills
Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.

About The Independence Houses
The Independence House, locally owned by a Registered Nurse, provides specialized assisted living facilities in a small home-like setting. Our facilities specialize in caring for individuals that have been diagnosed with dementia. The staff provides care, support and education to help families cope with the changes that dementia brings to their lives. The Independence Houses also provide palliative care, for those individuals diagnosed with an illness that causes pain or other health concerns. All 5 houses provide services to maximize comfort and quality of life.
