Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides Reliability by properly implementing, supporting and maintaining business intelligence applications and database systems;
• Collaborates with the Business Intelligence Officer, IT staff and other stakeholders to evaluate, implement, administer and update configuration, software and other deployments to assure database and reporting environments are optimal and consistent with short and long term strategy;
• Provide Assurance that the use of business intelligence applications enhances business decision making capabilities;
• Functions as a subject matter expert for database systems and business intelligence applications assuring proper Responsiveness to the needs and service requests of application administrators, end users and other stakeholders;
• Works closely with internal customers in conjunction with departmental business analysts, identifying and/or eliciting analytical and structural requirements for developing reports, best practices, actionable insights and makes recommendations to assist current business operations or to resolve issues;
• Perform maintenance and repair of application integration and analytics that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements;
• Coordinates the scheduling and execution of training regarding the use of business intelligence tools for application administrators, business analysts and end-users;
• Coordinate timely repair of reporting environments covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements;
• Participate in systems integration projects to deliver Tangibles, including but not limited to configuring and deploying databases, reports, dashboards, self-service user interfaces and related software;
• Coach, mentor and develop application administrators, business analysts and end users on best practices for report development, subscription and configuration;
• Install, update, troubleshoot and support reporting solutions and related software;
• Assist with the creation, update and maintenance of database and reporting systems documentation;
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business and organizational initiatives;
• Adhere to IT department strategies, processes, policies and procedures;
• Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, quality and orderliness in performing work assignments;
• Log all project work, change management tasks, and support interactions in the ticketing system and provide assurance that resolutions are completed timely to meet current SLAs;
• Provides the best service to our customers with innovative and creative solutions.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in a similar role and/or Associates, Bachelors or Technical Institute certificate/degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field;
• Ability to work independently and take initiative;
• Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot complex problems and see them through to resolution;
• Must have an established understanding of database technologies, high availability, disaster recovery, virtualization technologies, storage technologies, server operating systems, reporting application systems and related best practices;
• Must have solid technical skills and experience with a variety software packages and hardware involved in enterprise reporting and analytics delivery operations;
• Must have an aptitude for troubleshooting, analyzing, and diagnosing problems;
• Strong oral and written communication skills and decision making ability;
• Ability to deal with a wide variety of customers and provide Empathy while listening to and understanding inquiries about issues, then explain corrective procedures to technical and non-technical end-users;
• Ability to handle changing priorities and make valuable contributions to team objectives;
• Ability to seek continuous improvement and efficiencies across all areas of responsibility;
• Must be eager to learn and become a subject matter expert in database systems and analytics platforms;
• Ability to understand, troubleshoot and implement scripting to support systems administration, reporting and analytics;
• Have an understanding of RTO/RPO around business intelligence and BCP;
• Ability to work non-business hours and on-call hours as needed;
• Must interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers;
• Extended hours sitting and performing computer tasks may be required;
• Ability to complete complex projects with minimum to no supervision.
