Community Relations Manager – Entry Level

We’re a fast-growing outreach and public relations agency specializing in community engagement, nonprofit marketing, and event-based campaigns. Our team helps brands and mission-driven organizations connect meaningfully with local communities through face-to-face interactions and strategic public outreach.

We’re looking for a people-focused, entry-level Community Relations Manager to support campaigns that strengthen relationships between our clients and the communities they serve. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to launch a career in community relations, public outreach, or nonprofit PR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Outreach: Help organize and execute local outreach efforts that build awareness and connect clients with their target audiences.

  • Event Promotion & Support: Assist with coordinating and promoting public events, campaigns, and initiatives.

  • Brand Representation: Attend events, community meetings, and outreach activities as the face of our agency and our clients.

  • Public Relations Support: Work with our PR team to assist with media outreach, press materials, and public-facing communications.

  • Partnership Development: Help identify and foster relationships with community organizations, local leaders, and small businesses.

  • Content Creation: Contribute to outreach materials including flyers, social media posts, handouts, and talking points.

  • Feedback & Reporting: Track event performance, collect community feedback, and help measure campaign success.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align messaging, goals, and outreach strategy.

Qualifications:

  • No experience necessary – we offer full training and mentorship

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Confident, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with diverse groups

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field is a plus

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends based on event needs

  • Team-oriented attitude with a passion for community service and public engagement
