Job Description
Great Lakes Forest Products is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with our sales team. The focus of this position is to maintain and grow existing customer base, in addition to the sourcing and development of new sales relationships in lumber sales. The individual will coordinate sales and assist with the development of new markets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new markets for lumber. Identify specific market and account opportunities, develop and execute selling plans to focus on targeted markets and accounts

• Develop a full understanding of current marketing programs

• Maintains and grows existing and new customer base

• In discussion/planning with Sales Manager plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate personal sales goals and objectives

• Influence and manage positive customer relationships

• Ability to travel

• Assist sales team and management on special projects as identified and assigned

Qualifications:

• Prefer a Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Business or related field

• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, both written and oral

• Outstanding interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with customers• Must have strong time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Familiar with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is a plus
