Document Translator Volunteer

Job Description

Who: You have an eye for detail. You are a helper. You are fluent in Spanish (written & spoken). You have a passion for helping kids find the help that they need, and families feel supported when accessing help.

What: Translator Volunteer will:
• Read and thoroughly understand context of given material
• Interpret written documentation into Spanish, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format and tone.

Why: We want to serve the kids and families to the best of our ability, and provide them with documents that they can read and understand.

Where: IYR Admin Offices - 5465 Irving St, Boise. Or can be done remotely.

When: Now - ongoing until the documents are completed.

How: In order to volunteer for this opportunity, you will need to:
• Be at least 16 years old.
• Submit application and resume.
• Submit to a criminal background check
• Complete interview
• Comply with all Idaho Youth Ranch Volunteer Policies and Procedures
