Giving Tree Project Committee Member- Internal

Job Description

Who you are: You are organized, thorough, creative, methodical, and a good planner. You can use spreadsheets, timelines or project management software to help with the execution of our giving tree project for our clients in our programs. You have excellent communication skills. This can be a group opportunity.

What You’ll Do: Giving Tree Committee will:
• Incorporate adopt-a-family and create the adopt-a-family spreadsheet
o Obtain the number of families and family members that organizations are willing to sponsor from Chair 1
• Obtain family wish lists and program needs from Breanna, Susan, and Hays
• Create family flyers
• Handwrite “Thank you” cards and get signatures from staff
o Coordinate with Chair 1 to send cards
• Create and send newsletters at the beginning of Giving Tree and at the end to be sent via email internally
• Pick up gifts from sites weekly
• Check in gifts

Our Giving Tree program has grown exponentially over the years. We are in need of dedicated help during this short season, to make this program run efficiently, and make the holiday season bright for the kids and families we serve!

When: Starting October 1 to December 21st. 2-6 hours a week.

How: In order to volunteer for this opportunity, you will need to:
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Submit application
• Submit to a criminal background check
• Complete interview
• Comply with all Idaho Youth Ranch Volunteer Policies and Procedures
