Seeking a Business Development Manager to join a growing team in Van Nuys, CA. This role will be responsible for lead identification, initial discussions to opportunity scoping, quoting, and closing deals for their market segment. Top Skills Required: • 5-15 years of post-college work experience with either: a) a liquid biopsy company or b) a biospecimen CRO • Attention to detail, work ethic, and proactive disposition • Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time • Bachelor's Degree
About the Role: • They are looking for candidates who have worked in either: a) a liquid biopsy company or b) a biospecimen CRO (this is required) • This role will own and grow their own market segment (Diagnostic Companies) • Responsible for building their book of business and grow clients in their market segment • Business Development Manager will NOT manage a team • NOT looking for candidates from a "churn & burn" sales setting • Looking for candidates who have customer service mindset and committed to helping the client (this may mean taking a call after hours to ensure their needs are met) • Reports to: Vice President, Business Development
