Your key job responsibilities as the Project Manager in Johannesburg, South Africa will include:
- Lead Project Launches: Own the coordination of online casino launches, keeping projects on track and ensuring all milestones are delivered on time.
- Client Partnership: Be the go-to contact for B2C clients during the integration phase, offering hands-on support and proactive communication.
- Product Optimization: Help position products for maximum visibility and performance on client platforms, enhancing user engagement and revenue growth.
- Market Insight: Support research efforts to track product performance across global markets, delivering actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
- Keep Things Organised: Maintain detailed project documentation—timelines, task trackers, status updates – and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, support) to align goals and drive seamless execution.
- Mitigate Risk: Spot potential issues early and collaborate with relevant teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Client Enablement: Train and guide clients on product tools, features, and best practices to set them up for success.
Requirements for this Project Manager job in Johannesburg, South Africa:
- A relevant qualification in Project Management, Business, or similar. Bonus if you have a background in gaming or data analytics.
- 2–4 years in a project management or coordination role, ideally within the online casino or gaming sector.
- Experience working with B2C clients and managing cross-functional teams.
- Top-notch organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Clear and confident communicator – both written and verbal – with a knack for building strong relationships.
- A proactive problem-solver with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Solid understanding of the online gaming world, including performance metrics and industry trends.
- Comfortable using project management tools and systems.
- Fluent in English (other local languages are a plus).
