As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Remote Inventory Control Analyst.
As an Inventory Control Analyst, you will have a crucial role in streamlining our inventory management processes and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory systems. You will work remotely, collaborating closely with our supply chain team, warehouse personnel, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and locations to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory counts
- Develop and maintain inventory management procedures, policies, and controls to improve efficiency and minimize errors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and monitor stock levels for efficient supply chain management
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, track product movement, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements and cost savings
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues, such as stock outs, overstock, and obsolete items, in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in the implementation of new inventory management systems, including training and providing support to users
- Continuously review and update inventory management processes to adapt to changing business needs and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or related field
- Proficiency in using inventory management software, such as ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently, remotely, and in a fast-paced environment
