We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Assistant for KYNY Group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social change and a strong background in administration and project management. As a Program Assistant, you will provide critical support to our team, working remotely to help us achieve our mission of creating a more equitable and just society. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Program Director to develop and implement program strategies and goals
- Assist with the development and management of program budgets
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and conferences for the program team
- Conduct research and gather data to support program objectives
- Draft and edit program materials, including reports, presentations, and grant proposals
- Communicate with program stakeholders, including partners, funders, and community members
- Monitor program progress and analyze data to report on program outcomes
- Stay up to date on relevant industry trends and developments to inform program strategies
- Provide administrative support to program staff, including scheduling and file organization
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience in program management or administration
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Passion for social justice and a commitment to equity and inclusivity
- Ability to adapt to virtual work and comfortable working remotely
- Experience with remote work tools such as Zoom, Slack, and Trello preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with community organizing a plus
