Responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant, provides professional leadership and direction to personnel. Ensures the store is being run to meet Meatheads’ specifications and commitment to quality. Maintains a safe and orderly work place. Leads by example.
-Manage and motivate restaurant employees through constant communication and regular team meetings
-Ensure guests receive exceptional customer service at all times
-Trains employees to Meatheads’ standards Collaborate and actively participate as a member of the management team
-Actively supervise and motivatethe staff
-Develop employees by giving constructive feedback and recommend disciplinary action to GM when employees violate company policy
-Understand produce par levels and place orders when necessary
-Use Daily Labor Graphs & Hot Sheet to understand restaurant's financial performance day-over-day
-Perform opening administrative tasks (restaurant setup, deposit to bank, enter invoices)
-Perform nightly closing administrative tasks (reconcile safe, closing paperwork, check out closers)
-Set excellent customer service standards
-Responsible for administering prep sheet, completing line check, filling out shift card, and checking midday prep levels
-Has the ability to perform all functions in the FOH/BOH
-Effectively run a shift as Manager on Duty (MOD)
-1-2 years of shift supervisor experience in fast casual concept
-Commitment to high quality service and food
-Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
-Food Safety Certified by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health
-Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
-Knowledge of basic training skills
-Ability to manage priorities and workflow Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
-Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
