Job Description
New General Cafe in Winter Park, FL is looking for a seasoned line cook to join our team. We are located on 155 E New England Ave. right off Park Ave in the Winter Park downtown district. This is the perfect job for work life balance, NO night shifts. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, a team player and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prep dishes based on restaurant standards and guidelines
- Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
- Breakdown and clean up of station / BOH area
Qualifications
- Line cook experience with a proven history of speed and efficiency on the line
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments
- Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with health forward, plant based & GF foods would be an added bonus
