Job Description



Peninsula Agency on Aging (PAA) is currently seeking an individual to serve as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Caring Neighbor Program to support the agency in making our community a healthier, more livable area for older adults. 


Peninsula Agency on Aging has been providing services that have enabled seniors to live independently since 1974.  Our mission is to support the independence and quality of life of Peninsula residents, primarily 60 years and over, by advocating, arranging, or providing vital human services.

 Key Responsibilities

As the Volunteer Coordinator with the Caring Neighbor Program, you will play a vital role promoting volunteer opportunities, recruiting and training volunteers for the program that links seniors 60+ and individuals with disabilities to services, and maintaining accurate volunteer records.


Essential Skills and Experience

We are looking for applicants with any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree from accredited college or university. Applicant needs to be experienced with working with volunteers and older adults, using word processing, spreadsheet management, presentation, and reporting software, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.   Applicants must also have the ability to model our values, and be vaccinated for COVID-19.
