This position is responsible for serving as a customer liaison by providing value added services that grow our business. Primarily by telephone and e-mail, this position assists in responding to customer requests, concerns, suggestions and complaints. The Customer Service Representative must take responsibility to continually develop and use sound judgment in decision making and problem solving. Work is done under general supervision and guidance but the ability to work independently is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that every customer experience meets quality standards as defined by the customer. Handle all incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Coordinate the prompt handling of all customer service requests and concerns and ensure timely responses to customers. Act as liaison for customer to resolve disputes and claims with QC/Warehouse. Foster and operate in a continuous improvement environment. Other duties as assigned. GENERAL SKILLS
Proficient in MS Office (with emphasis on Excel), experience with Order Entry/MSRP/Inventory a plus. Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact. Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally. Demonstrate an understanding of and adhere to all policies and procedures. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma required. Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 2 years related experience in customer service and manufacturing is required. QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, prioritize and execute work activities. Must be effective at resolving problems and handling stressful situations in a professional manner. Must be detail oriented. Job Type: Full-time
