Position Summary; This position requires a self-motivated, reliable employee to join our Production staff as a Machine Operator. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. This position supports the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.
What you’ll do:
• Daily tasks include setup and operate a pouching machine or bottling Line
• Regulate machine by settings and adjusting controls
• Troubleshoot machine issues
• Input production records into PS Seasonings ERP system using a laptop or tablet
• Record QC paperwork and digital quality checks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting production goal
• Examine and inspect materials, containers, and products to ensure that specifications are met
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
• Mark and label containers, tags and products using marking tools
• Clean up work area including products, bags, boxes before next project
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and safety programs
• Other duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:
• Basic math skills required
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to read and write in English preferred
• Mechanically inclined to set up machine
• Physical requirements include lifting to 60 lbs., bending, standing and climbing
• Ability to work independently or with a team
Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 to $24.00 per HOUR
