Job Description
Residential Operating Managers implement regional tactical plans and assist in the selection, development and retention of a quality workforce in assigned region. They assure workplace safety, comply with regulation and policy and facilitate the ongoing development of teams in relation to residential management and residential operations. Provide assistance to the Residential Senior Coordinator in developing and implementing residential operating strategies and systems, and monitors their effectiveness. Ensures that Program Managers operate within the Arc’s policies and guidelines regarding human resource management. Participates as a member of interdisciplinary teams to implement strategies designed to improve the consumer planning process, community involvement, behavior management, and other tasks related to effective management of a residence. Assists the regional team in implementing improvement strategies to address issues, concerns, and priority areas identified by an OPWDD survey process, an internal management audit, and/or by a quality improvement initiative.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree with two years of residential management experience or an Associate’s degree with five years of residential management experience. Computer skills preferred. Must have a valid NYS Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience with that license
$24.54 hrly.
