Job Description:
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Respect Behavior Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, individualized ABA therapy services under the guidance of our experienced BCBA. You will work directly with clients in home, school, and community settings, implementing behavior intervention plans designed to meet their unique needs. Your dedication will make a significant difference in our clients' lives, helping them achieve their maximum potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with ASD.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Record and collect data on clients' progress and respond to data by modifying interventions as directed.
- Develop and maintain positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
- Follow ethical guidelines and standards of practice in ABA.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure confidentiality and respect for the privacy of our clients and their families.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the BACB.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desired.
- Experience working with children (ages 2 and up).
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to client locations.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and interventions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in clinical documentation and record keeping for ABA services.
