Looking for experienced straight truck drivers for local position.
Job Description This position requires drivers to operate 28 ft bobtail to some of the world's leading airlines at LAX. Driver's responsibility will be catering to aircraft, including loading and unloading equipment on to the delivery cart and driving cart to the airport craft. Will have multiple trips and must be able to handle freight. Food and beverage items are kept in cart at an optimum temperature of 39 F or cooler. Must go through TSA clearance before starting and will have training prior to starting. These runs are time sensitive therefore driver must have great communication skills and detailed oriented. Must be flexible with start times and operating on weekends if needed being that this is a 24/7 schedule. Responsible for the proper execution of all safety and catering procedures outlined in the company, airline and airport duties assigned by dispatch and management. Training will be about 4-6 weeks at the facility until TSA cleared. Next training will begin May 16th
Candidates must meet the following driving criteria:
Must be at least 23 years of age Must have 1 year with bobtail or bus experience to qualify Must have at least 1 year verifiable driving experience Must be able to qualify TSA Airport Security Clearance Badge Must have a valid driver's license Able to lift 75 pounds Must be able to work in tight areas, bend, lift above shoulder height Must possess strong customer contact skills & interpersonal skills with fellow employees No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years No more than 1 accident at fault in the last 3 years No DUI in the last 10 years
