1 Full Time Position (Temporary) in Zapata County


Advocate for the Sexual Assault Services and Information Program.
The SASI Program provides 24-hour crisis intervention and case management services to sexual assault survivors of all ages and their families.

The Advocate will provide advocacy services as defined by the OAG. These services include in-person and virtual assistance on behalf of survivors with employers, educators, health care professionals, law enforcement, prosecutors' offices, and housing authorities, in addition to assistance with applying for Crime Victim's Compensation.

The grant contract period (term) is from April 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025, subject to and contingent on funding and/or approval by the OAG.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in the behavioral sciences.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with families preferred.
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Must be available to work flexible hours.
  • Must have a Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Salary $16.83 to $17.79 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
