Job Description Position - Full-time Substance Abuse Counselor
Duties: Provide substance abuse treatment services to male adults residing at a residential facility that include individual, group and family counseling and skills-based training among other duties.
• Must be Licensed as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor or as an LCDC Intern with Texas DSHS or Licensed Professional Counselor or Intern (LPC or LPC-I)
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Sociology
Other Required Qualifications: • Bilingual (English/Spanish) - able to speak Spanish fluently • Good computer skills • Valid TX driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation • Able to work flexible hours
Location: Serenidad Recovery Home is located in Rio Bravo.
Salary Range: 13.94/Hr. to $18.27/Hr. depending on Licensure status, experience and qualifications plus benefits
