POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT


SCAN’S Youth Recovery Home has 1 full-time Youth Care Worker Position.

The Youth Recovery Home is a gender specific residential substance abuse treatment program for male adolescents ages 13-17 who are dependent on drugs and or alcohol.

Duties: YCW provide supervision for the adolescents in care at a residential substance abuse treatment program.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), and able to speak Spanish Fluently
• Able to work flexible evening hours and weekends (preferably every other Saturday)
• All applicants must be 21 years or older.


Hourly rate is $10.00 per hour.

SCAN programs provide diverse prevention, intervention, and treatment services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. With a budget of more than $10 million, SCAN has more than 40 programs providing services in 16 different counties.

Counties are: Cameron, Dimmit, Duval, Frio, Hidalgo, Jim Hogg, Kleberg, LaSalle, Maverick, Real, Starr, Uvalde, Val Verde, Webb, Zapata and Zavala.
