Job Description
Sign Builders is now hiring a sign installer with sign installation, electrician or construction experience.
Install sign letters and box signs on buildings or other structures according to sketches, drawings or blueprints. Make electrical connections to power sources and test signs for correct operation. Work at heights up to 20' from ladders or man lifting equipment in all types of weather. Physically strenuous and requires some lifting, climbing bending and working on ladders. After hours, overnight and outer island work included.
This is NOT an assembly line job. Sign
Builders manufactures custom, one of a kind signs for business. Every
sign is a unique creation, built from metal, plastic or
wood.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
OSHA 10 hour safety certification
Valid Hawaii drivers license
Able to lift 50 lbs
Excellent basic math skills
Able to work on a ladder at heights up to 20'
Available for after hours, overnight
and for outer island assignments

Responsibilities
Conduct field surveys to evaluate job site conditions
Review fabrication and installation drawings
Drill and mount to buildings, dig post holes.
Complete installations according to plans. If discrepancies exist, check in with supervisor
Perform service inspections and repairs
