Program Assistant - Rosati Place

Job Description

The Program Assistant will support the Rosati Place Director and staff by performing administrative and basic case management duties. The Program Assistant will implement the daily direct care of all clients in compliance with treatment and program goals for Rosati Place.

• Maintain a positive relationship with staff and clients
• Be familiar with mental health and substance use diagnoses
• Assist in creating a comfortable atmosphere for clients and maintain professional boundaries
• Assist with documentation requirements within each program at Rosati Place
• Assist in meeting program licensure requirements
• Be familiar with crisis intervention as needed
• Assist with copying, filing and scanning documents and general organization of file systems
• Maintain visitor and client intervention and shift logs at the Front Desk
• Review files as needed within audits and grant requirements
• Order office supplies and keep track of needed supplies for the building
• Retrieve and distribute incoming mail as needed to clients
• Assist with building compliance needs as applicable
• Communicate regularly with supervisor for performance and feedback including special assignments
• Assist with other office assistance duties as assigned
• Other miscellaneous and special projects as assigned


• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Office Assistant experience
• Current proof of First Aid Training and CPR
• Current physical/TB screen before start date
• Understanding of mental illness and substance use preferred
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Agency policies of HIPPA confidentiality
• Knowledge of confidentiality and working ethically
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel)

• Solid computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Understanding and practice of client/staff boundaries
• Respectful to peers and clients
• Sensitive to cultural diversity
• High level of confidentiality, sound judgement and discretion
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced team setting and ability to work independently

• Report to Director of Rosati Place
• Attend and participate in all appropriate St. Patrick Center meetings
