Job Description
We are seeking a Full-Time Small Engine Mechanic to service and repair small engine equipment, such as lawnmowers, edge trimmers, tillers, water pumps, generators, small construction equipment and more.
As our Full Time, Year Round, Small Engine Mechanic, you will perform the following duties on a regular basis:
Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with customers
Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs
Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts
Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts
Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs
Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
Gas combustion engines
Electric motors
Light and some heavy equipment
What to expect: We are searching for a full-time small engine mechanic who is looking for a career and a home. This is not seasonal, this is a year-round position. Our shop hours are Monday - Saturday 7:30 am - 7:00 pm and Sundays 9:00 am - 3:00 so your work schedule would be within those time periods.
