Technical Architect

Job Description

Role Purpose

Develops and communicates network infrastructure architectural blueprints, and supports implementation ensuring integration with data, applications and Fridays networks.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Provides technical expertise for design, provisioning, deployment & maintenance of infrastructure solutions including compute, storage and network (on-premise and cloud)
Provide leadership to adopt new technologies, drive proof of concept and deploy solutions
Solve complex problems with many variables.
Participates in 24x7 on-call rotation
Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent education/experience.
10 years’ experience in designing, developing, configuring and hands-on implementation of enterprise infrastructure with diverse solutions from multiple vendors.
3 - 5 years’ experience in Windows Infrastructure design, hands-on implementation, and support integrating hybrid cloud architecture (azure).
Must Be able to pass a Background and Drug Test
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of a variety of technology platforms from a perspective of performance, flexibility, and usability.
Performs moderately complex systems administration within a highly virtualized environment. Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure an optimum level of performance.
Oversees appropriate level software installations and upgrades and related software packages.
Collects and reviews system data for capacity and planning purposes. Analyzes capacity data and develops capacity plans for appropriate level enterprise-wide systems. Coordinates with appropriate management personnel in implementing changes.
System management and security of Windows servers ensuring maximum system availability and performance.
Provide support to the software application support team in helping to diagnose infrastructure or application issues.
Oversees and applies appropriate support packages/patches to maintain system integrity.
Ability to lift, carry, and move all components of PC workstations, servers, network equipment, peripherals, and other ancillary equipment
