Job Description:

Trust Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a driven, motivated, and detail-oriented BD & Proposal Coordinator to support our strategic growth. This position works closely with executive leadership to identify, analyze, qualify, and lead opportunities through critical aspects of the business development and proposal management lifecycle. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks and proposals simultaneously while operating within tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support with identifying, researching, analyzing, qualifying, and leading opportunities through the business development and proposal management lifecycle.
  • Closely collaborate with internal team of business development and proposal management professionals to assist in managing the pipeline of opportunities and perform internal opportunity assessments and research need.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and emerging trends within the federal civilian sector.
  • Monitor government procurement websites (SAM.gov, agency forecasts, etc.), industry publications, and other sources for relevant business leads, opportunities, and solicitations.
  • Coordinate with federal acquisition, procurement, and program offices to gather information regarding upcoming opportunities.
  • Assist in the coordination and management of the RFI/proposal development process, including collaborating with internal subject matter experts and business development team members to produce compelling and compliant proposals for federal solicitations.
  • Ability to assist and lead various activities in the proposal management lifecycle, including data call creation, color reviews, formatting, technical editing, and content and graphic development.
  • Support the management of centralized SharePoint-based repositories, organizing proposal content, and lessons learned for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with developing presentations, market/business plans, and marketing materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, or related fields with at least 2 years of relevant experience in federal business development and proposal management.
  • Proficiency in proposal management software and tools, including the Microsoft Office 365 suite, SharePoint, and other platforms.
  • Ability to lead the development of compelling graphics, including organizational charts, infographics and presentations, and process-oriented visuals that support strategic messaging.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compliant documents and presentations.
  • Ability to lead and communicate across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in proposal management software and tools, including the Microsoft Office 365 suite, SharePoint, and other platforms.
  • Strong skills using online research tools with the ability to learn new tools.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to address changes and develop innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to deliver high-quality proposals with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
